Terms and Conditions

Deposits

On all cruises a non-refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required within 7 days of confirmation.

Final Payment

Due 60 days prior to sailing date.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations received 59 to 30 days prior to departure, 50% of total cruise rate will be forfeited. There is no refund on cancellations made fewer than 30 days prior to departure.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance that includes: trip cancellation and interruption, travel and baggage delay.

Cruise Rate Includes:

Cabin accommodations, all meals, shore excursions with naturalist guides, evening briefings, transfers from aircraft to ship in Galapagos.

Cruise Rate Does Not Include:

Air transportation to Galapagos, Galapagos national Park taxes. Ecuador departure tax, alcoholic beverages and, on some ships, soft drinks, or personal purchases aboard ship.

Children

Under 7 years of age, children are only allowed to travel with special prearranged conditions.

Responsibility

Galapagos, Inc., 7800 Red Road, south Miami, Florida 33143, and its agents, act only as agents for the various companies over whose lines tickets are issued and whose facilities are sold. Galapagos, Inc., and its agents assume no responsibility or liability in connection with the services or transportation so provided. Specifically but not in limitation of the above, Galapagos, Inc., and its agents will not be responsible for any act, error or omission, or for any injury, illness, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned for any reason, including but not limited, to any defect in any vehicle or vessel, or through neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying, feeding or housing the passenger.

The passenger will look solely to the respective owners or operators of such services for any damages or injuries that may arise. In the even it become necessary or advisable, for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty. Additional expenses, I any, shall be borne by the passengers, conversely refund will be made to the passengers, if any saving is effected thereby. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours, also to decline to accept or retain any passengers as members of the tours in the sole discretion of the tour operators. In such instances full or equitable amount will be refunded.

Passengers are advised that political and social unrest may be present in the areas to be visited. Inquiry of the U.S. State Department, its embassies and consulates, can be made by the passengers to determine the best information on such matters. By embarking upon his/her travel, whether expected or unexpected. Passenger is hereby warned of such risks, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. The retention of tickets, reservations or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above and the agreement on the part of the passenger to convey the contents hereto to travel companions or group members.
